Connecting your membership database to Kindful

Save valuable time by connecting Join It and Kindful, so your member and donor data are in sync.

Syncing your membership database to other platforms is a core tenant of Join It's functionality. Kindful is a powerful donor database and automation platform that can easily be configure to compliment your use of Join It. 

To connect Kindful and make sure your new members and payments are automatically added to the appropriate Kindful campaign, follow these steps: 

  1. Sign up for you account on Join It and go through the onboarding process to get your initial set-up.

  2. To connect your Kindful account, navigate to the 'Automations' section of Join It.

  3. Select the card that's labeled 'Kindful'.

  4. If you haven't already connected your Kindful account, then you'll be prompted to click on the button that says "Connect Kindful" and then login with your Kindful credentials.

  5. Select which membership types you want to be included in the setup of this automation (you can select 'All Members' or a single membership type). 

  6. Select the Kindful 'Campaign' that you want your members automatically associated with.

  7. Click 'Create Automation' and you're all set! All new Members will be automatically added.
